Slipper changes hands.  At this point my uncle and mentor, Carl Johannesen, trades off Slipper to me.  He is second from left and is shown here with some of the family at the Stallion Review in Spanish Fork, Utah, March 2004.

Grandson, Jimmy, can't stay awake in his daddy's arms...certainly not on our old friend, Sterling, our former stallion who has since passed away of cancer.
